NO to "Guilty by Association" (HF3693/SF3463)
Say NO to this unnecessary legislation designed to stifle important voices fighting to protect our climate, water and land.
“Guilty by Association” (HF3693/SF3463) turns a misdemeanor offense into a felony crime for trespassing on “critical infrastructure” (pipelines) for both the trespasser and those recruiting or educating individuals who do the same.
Really? No gun control bills at all? Come on Minnesota!
Out of 26 gun-control bills introduced in Mn Leg, only 2 have had hearings this 2018 session, and NONE have been passed. And all this in spite of the Parkland shooting, numerous rallies, school Walkouts, national marches, repeated call on lawmakers to institute sensible gun laws. It seems that

Our first Comfortable at the Capitol event was a hit. We were able to partake in the MN Zoo day at the Capitol and met several MN House members, including Representative Erin Maye Quade and Representative Ilhan Omar, while mingling with ant eaters, turtles and chinchillas.

Last year Myriam Parada was the victim in a car crash, but was unlawfully arrested and jailed by the Coon Rapids police who attended the crash. She was then transferred to Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE). As a result, Myriam is now fighting deportation from the US. ACLU-MN is suing Anoka County Sheriff's office and Coon Rapids Police Department for how they handled this case.
