Prep For the Midterm Elections: 5 Easy Actions

We’re 4 weeks out from the November Midterms. Join us in building the largest midterm turnout in Minnesota’s history. 

Women’s March Minnesota - AF is committed to accountability for the Trump regime. We’re committed to electing a majority across the state who will protect our state, our communities, our neighbors from the MAGA agenda. We all have a part to play in making this happen.

What you can do: 5 easy actions!

  • Vote early and encourage other people to vote early. Let's make sure this election has a strong turnout with results that cannot be questioned. Added bonus - the sooner you vote, the sooner you will be taken off the phone and text lists to be contacted about voting.

  • Think of five people in your life who you are not sure will vote - neighbors, relatives, friends, acquaintances. Talk to them about the upcoming elections and let them know what you think is at stake this election, who you are voting for and why. Make sure they have a plan to vote. 

  • Support candidates who represent your values. They might be in your district or in another district. Donate to their campaigns. Visit their website or social media to find out how you can help - putting out lawn signs, phone banking, doorknocking, driving people to the polls, etc.; it will all make a difference.

  • There’s a constitutional amendment on everyone’s ballot this year and we advise you to vote YES on it. This amendment is about whether or not we want to increase the funding going to all MN school districts from the permanent school fund, which is a fund that supports school districts - without raising individual income or property taxes. If you skip this section, your non-note will be recorded  as a “no”. Please vote yes!

  • Every race this November is important, from the top of the ticket to the bottom. If your time is short, we encourage you to give extra support to the MN attorney general race. AG Keith Ellison has proved himself a fearless fighter for human and civil rights in the face of repeated vicious attacks by the Trump administration and ICE. Keith Ellison is the kind of AG we need. There are other close races, where just 200 votes or less made a difference. They include:
