No Kings Vote Early Oct 17, 2026 in Minneapolis  - Get Off Your Hands and Vote

Are you ready to vote and bring a few friends? I think we all are after the amazing program at No Kings Vote Early in downtown Minneapolis. It was a beautiful October afternoon and an estimated 5,000 attendees gathered for music, food, fun, voter information and inspiring speeches.

Champlain Suleiman Adan began by reminding that when we are all in trouble when the neighbor’s house is on fire and our neighbors’ home in distress, one way we can help is to vote with them (and ourselves) in mind. Emmett Doyle, musician and Minnesota 15 member, sang some songs of freedom and resilience, joined by his fellow MN15 member, Brian Stillill Apland. RT Rybeck shone with pride for his city and state as he reminded us to vote for the future we wanted. Attorney General Keith Ellison stood up for Ilhan Omar and Turn Turn Turn got us all to sing the fascists away. Veronica Mendez Moore thanked Minnesota for stepping up and told us about the importance of asking our businesses to follow suit. The strike on January 23, 2026 made a difference! Terry Walsh sang Bruce Springsteen’s Minneapolis. THE POLITICS CHICKS spoke eloquently about disability rights – especially when it comes to voting. DeWayne Davis inspired us to move forward and the Sounds Of Blackness told us in song to get off our hands and vote!
