Just 5 days to go until the elections! Last weekend to GOTV!

We’re into the last stretch. Lots of people have already voted and more are still to vote. Some haven’t decided yet. GOTV campaigns will be at fever-pitch this weekend. What can you do to help?

With everything that has happened this last week, the issues of white supremacy, racism, hatred and violence have been brought to the fore. We have to make it clear that this kind of behavior is not acceptable in the US. We must do this at the polls.

So, although turnout for the last midterm elections in MN was less than 50%, let’s make sure it’s different this time. Let's turn out for these midterms in HUGE numbers, and let’s get others to do the same.

What's your GOTV plan for this week?

We love a great march. Like-minded people coming together to stand up for what they believe in.

Know what’s even better? Making sure great people get elected to positions of power, people who will stand up and fight every day for the things you believe in.

What are you doing this week to make sure the right people get elected on November 6th?

If you are not already door knocking, text/phone banking, writing postcards etc., to GOTV and support candidates, now's the time.

We contacted 15,000 plus in one night! Way to go Third Thursdays!

1 bar, 2 hours, 50 people = 15,000 voters contacted by text and 600plus cards written! Great GOTV results, folks. Thanks for coming out and working so darn hard. You were phenomenal. And it was fun!

Takeaway: Text banking is a REALLY good way to be in touch with people about voting. And by the end it looked like there was a new group of text bankers ready to lend a hand to some lucky election campaigns.

Volunteer with Asian American Organizing Project (AAOP) and MN Voices to increase voter turnout for the Midterms

Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) make up 3.1% of the eligible voter population in MN, but they only account for 1.9% of all active registered voters and 1.6% of the vote share.

Asian American Organizing Project and MN Voices are working together to change this by registering and turning out Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders to vote in Minnesota. Can you help?
