Committee Members: Committees are collaborative issue teams representing a focused issue area. These teams are committees that will meet monthly (in person and/or by Zoom teleconference) and will provide recommendations to the Board of Directors on strategy, events, and collaborations.
Action Teams: Action Teams are leaders and/or committees that are the movers and shakers of our movement. If you are ready to hit the ground running and make a difference in Minnesota, this is the place for you!
Providing young people with the tools needed to create high school and college chapters that guide students in making a positive impact in their communities. We believe that the single most powerful act we can do is prepare young people with the skills and commitments to take actions around causes that matter to them with courage, compassion and collaboration. Minnesota Billboard Project just bought three billboards, and they need you to select the best pro-choice message. The designs (all by local MN artists) are Facebook and Instagram for you to review. Voting starts on Tuesday, July 9 at 7:00 pm and runs for one week.

On Friday July 12th, 2019, Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Detention Camps, will bring thousands of Americans to detention camps across the country, into the streets and into their own front yards, to protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees.
The speakers bring first-hand perspectives from recent visits and their own decades of experience in Central America and Mexico. Alianza Americas Executive Director, Oscar Chacón has just returned from Mexico and El Salvador. He will be joined by board members, Abel Nuñez, Mirtha Colon, and Odilia Romero who bring perspectives from the ground from El Salvador, Honduras, and Mexico. Francisco Segovia, Executive Director of COPAL, will moderate.
