Rally: No Cuts. No Hikes. Fund Transit Now!

  • Minnesota State Capitol 75 Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55155

Stand with transit riders and rally at the Capitol to make your voice heard!

The Minnesota Legislature has proposed deep cuts to Metro Transit bus and light rail funding. If these cuts pass, riders in our community will suffer with fare increases and service cuts. Some routes will run less often or have shorter hours. Other routes could be gone entirely.

We need to fight back! These potentially drastic cuts would have a devastating impact on the elderly, low-income workers, communities of color, people with disabilities, and everyone who depends on transit to get around.

Meet on the corner of Park Street and University next to the Green Line Capitol Station in Saint Paul.

Questions? Contact organizer, Andrea Kiepe, at andreak@tlcminnesota.org or 651-789-1406.

This rally is being organized by the Transportation Forward coalition.
