Have you been looking to learn more about the issues impacting LGBTQ people in Minnesota and all around the nation? Have you been wondering how YOU can make an impact in this current political climate? Please join HRC and our friends at OutFront Minnesota, Transforming Families MN, Avenues for Homeless Youth, J-Pride (a program of Jewish Family and Children's Service of Minneapolis) and The Bridge for Youth (among others!) for an engaging evening at Lush in NE Minneapolis. We will be discussing topics including: trends in the states and at the Federal level; updates on activity in the Minnesota Legislature; currents grassroots efforts in Minnesota; navigating the public education system to support trans and gender diverse students; and how the current political climate is impacting students.
