Join us and bring your friends to  INM monthly meeting. We will be discussing immigration, what is going on with DACA, how it affects our community and how we can take action.

Key note speaker: Daniel Romero

Daniel Romero is the Minister for Faith Formation at the First Congregational Church of Minnesota and a member of the Minnesota Conference UCC Immigration Team. Previously, Daniel worked as a community organizer in several states where he organized churches and community organizations around immigration reform and creating Sanctuary Coalitions. Locally, Daniel is a leader with ICOM, the Interfaith Coalition on Immigration, and MIRAC, the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee. He is also a former member at Southside Presbyterian Church in Tucson where the modern Sanctuary Movement began.

We will also have a staff member from the Anoka Sheriff's office to give us a presentation about Human Trafficking.

Please RSVP and spread the word.
