Ramona Africa Speaks on Police Brutality and Community Dinner

  • 4200 Cedar Avenue South Minneapolis, MN, 55407 United States (map)

October 22 is the National Day of Protest Against Police Brutality. We will mark this occasion and finish off our weekend of police brutality awareness with a community dinner and keynote speaker Ramona Africa.

Ramona Africa is the only adult survivor of the 1985 bombing of the MOVE house by Philadelphia police. This bombing killed 6 adults and 5 children and razed an entire neighborhood of 61 houses. Ramona will talk about this ultimate act of police brutality and important lessons for today's police accountability movement.

We'll be serving a delicious community dinner with lots of comfort food favorites and plenty of tasty vegan options.

Free and open to the public, come participate and take action against police brutality with CUAPB on this national day of protest!
