Join the Department of Chicano & Latino Studies for its second Critical Conversations Series talk.
Water protectors from Ginew, a new grassroots encampment focused on direct action trainings and lead by indigenous women, will discuss the recent struggle against Enbridge's pipeline (Line 3) in northern Minnesota. The collective of organizers base their work on the principles of inclusivity, indigenous-led non-violent resistance, and the protection of Mother Earth for generations to come.
All are welcome to attend.
