Parking and transportation
By car: Please note parking is limited. A small lot is next to the Minneapolis American Indian Center, but we are requesting that do not park there unless you have a disability or are an elder. The Indian Center will offer their usual programming since the march is during business hours, and we want to remain respectful and leave spots available for folks attending the other programs.
Some street parking is available in the neighborhood, but please arrive early to give yourself sufficient time to find a spot and walk to the Indian Center. Also, please be courteous of the people living in the neighborhood and pay attention to signage to avoid tickets or being towed.
By light rail: Take the Blue line to the Franklin Ave. station. Walk five minutes down Franklin to the Indian Center from this stop. We highly recommend using the light rail if possible to prevent traffic and parking issues.
By bus: Lines 2, 9, 14 and 67 run by the Indian Center.
