March will begin outside the Radisson Blu Downtown Minneapolis, 35 S 7th St.
For those who are able to march, the route is approximately 1.5 miles long.
Our country is at a critical crossroads for healthcare. As a nation, we pay more for healthcare than any other country. Far from getting our money’s worth, we face massive barriers to care; large inequities based on our race, class, gender, immigration status, geography, and disability status; and medical debt that routinely leads to financial ruin, bankruptcy, and housing insecurity. Attempts to repeal, cut, cost-shift and privatize the coverage we do have access to threaten the care millions depend on.
- We demand healthcare that serves patients, not insurance company profits.
- We demand care for every American, regardless of income, employment, health status or documentation.
- We demand expanded and improved Medicare for All.
