Hosted by Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women
From the host:
On January 29, 2019, MCBW will host its annual memorial to honor the lives of those we have lost to domestic violence in the past year. This year, in addition to reading the names of the 2018 victims of domestic violence homicide and a display of the 2018 Clothesline Project, we will offer a retrospective of the past 30 years of victims memorialized in the Femicide Report. For 30 years, the Clothesline Project and Femicide Report have emphasized the immeasurable impact of domestic violence on our families, schools, workplaces, communities – and ultimately on the quality of life in Minnesota.
While this is a public event, we extend special invitations to family members and friends of those who have been killed due to domestic violence. We also extend express invitations to staff and volunteers of domestic violence programs, legislators, and criminal justice system personnel.
