Welcome to YOUR house! The State Capitol is where the officials YOU elected work for YOU, representing YOU and YOUR concerns, as they draft, debate and vote on legislation that will affect YOUR life. It may feel like they’re the ones with the power – but they’re beholden to YOU.

Let's make sure they're doing what YOU put them there to do. Let's get ready to take some legislative action in 2019!

Join us for a special WMM tour to help YOU get Comfortable at the Capitol. Learn how things work at the MN State Capitol and find out how YOU can have an impact on what bills get passed this session.

Tour the State Capitol building, the House of Representatives and Senate building. Visit your state representative's and senator's offices and introduce yourself to their legislative assistant. Find out how to watch a floor session, attend a committee hearing, call your legislator from the House or Senate Chambers, and where to access the libraries, grab a bite to eat and temporarily park your coat.

Kathy Hollander will be your tour guide. She is a past volunteer citizen lobbyist, who loves hanging around at the Capitol and has a passion for legislative action.

Wear your walking shoes, please!

The tour is free, but registration is required. The tour group will be limited to 12 people!
