Challenging Islamophobia Conference

Explore the history of Islamophobia and how the impact effects society. Examine public policies, the Islamophobia Industry, the demographic effects and more in our Break out sessions. This conference will inform and equip you to challenge Islamophobia in your own lives and work settings.

2018 Conference drew over 250 attendees from school administrators, government employees, corporate diversity and inclusion leaders, non-profit leaders and elected officials, students, and community activists.

This year’s Invited speakers include but are not limited to: Dr Hatem Bazian, founder of the Center for the Study and Documentation of Islamophobia; Dr Todd Green, Associate Professor of Religion at Luther College; Khaled Beydoun; Adam Saltani; Maytha Alhassen; and nationally recognized experts on Islamophobia, and local elected officials including Gov. Waltz, Senator Tina Smith and Amy Klobuchar and others.

Topics to be addressed include: The Islamophobia Industry, the Intersection of Islamophobia, Anti-Semitism and White Nationalism/Supremacy, Impact of Islamophobia and Hate, Greater Minnesota Challenges and more.
