ATTC Old School/New School GOTV PartyPostcard Writing Party

  • Local Roots 827 E 66th Street Richfield, MN 55423 (map)

Mobilization for busy people!

From the organizers - Action Together Twin Cities:
A handwritten post-card is one small part of campaigning that can help mobilize people to vote. Getting people to the polls can help us flip the House seats in Minnesota!

At this event, we will also learn how to do TEXT BANKING. Totally anonymous, easy (we'll train you!) and effective way to reach people to encourage them to vote. Please bring your laptops and/or mobile devices charged up. If you want to text bank - please email and you'll be sent details to ahead of time so we can get started right away!

Join me to write some cards to Minnesotans to remind them to vote NOW early or on election day November 6th.

Local Roots has a playroom for kids, free WiFi, delicious food, kids menu and beer and wine. It's a lovely place to hangout and write some cards with fellow citizen activists. Postcards and pens and suggested messaging will be provided!

Can't make a party? Here are some other things you can do!

1) Contact your favorite campaign directly to volunteer.

2) Make sure you are working your own network to get everyone to the polls!

Give them the following information - all the information anyone in Minnesota needs to vote is here - how to register, how to vote early by mail or in person, how to vote on election day, and sample ballots with website links for them to research candidates for their particular location.

Use the Vote with Me app to help you identify friends in swing districts who did NOT vote in the last midterms and contact them to remind them to vote:
