Dine to Support Minnesotans Volunteering in Syrian Refugee Camps (Option 1)

  • Gandhi Mahal Restaurant 3009 27th Avenue South Minneapolis, MN, 55406 United States (map)

In Lebanon, 30% of population are refugees and half of those are children. Since the start of the Syrian war 7 years ago, families have left their homes and fled to escape the violence seeking refuge in makeshift camps just across the border. In April, 9 Minnesotans will be joining the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) to provider medical care in these camps along the Lebanese/Syrian border.

Join us for a delicious Indian buffet as we talk about our upcoming mission. Dinner will include: Chicken Tika Masala, Vegetable Curry, Dewana, Basmati Rice, Naan and Rice Pudding. Proceeds from the dinner ticket sales will go to purchasing medication and supplies to be used during our trip. Volunteers are paying their own travel expenses and using their own vacation time to go. We would love to dine with you as we prepare for our departure and gain local Minnesotan community support!

*Note: There are two nights to chose from. Wednesday 3/21 and Thursday 3/22. Please ensure you are purchasing tickets for your preferred night.
