Minnesotans Speak Out to Save Medicaid & MinnesotaCare

  • MN Senate Building 95 University Avenue W, Room 1200 Saint Paul, MN, 55155 United States (map)

Facebook event, hosted by ISAIAH and 4 others

This Wednesday, 7/12, our state legislators will meet to discuss Health Care Access and Affordability. This is happening at a time when the U. S. Senate Healthcare bill (BCRA) would repeal the Affordable Care Act, end Medicaid as we know it, take healthcare away from 22 million Americans and blow a $2 BILLION hole in Minnesota’s budget. Meanwhile, in St. Paul, legislative leaders have already cut $500 million from our state Health and Human Services budget and have raided our Healthcare Access Fund, which is meant to fund healthcare for vulnerable Minnesotans.

The agenda of this "Select Committee on Health Care Consumer Access and Affordability," and even the makeup of the Committee is still unknown. What we do know is that with the threat we face to our healthcare, we need to show up and hold our legislators accountable to us, their constituents!

If you have concerns about you, your family members or neighbors losing healthcare, Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act or MinnesotaCare, stand with us on Wednesday, July 12th at the Senate Building to make sure our legislators know.
