The House just passed the AHCA.
All Minnesota Republicans - like Paulsen - voted on before it received a Congressional Budget Office score and before many of them could read it . Paulsen's office surely heard from many of us, and chose to ignore us.
Let's tell Paulsen this is not okay - we saw him, we noticed and we're angry. Our families are scared, and our economy will be thrown into chaos.
Join us at Noon on Friday May 5th at his office for an impromtu demonstration!!!
Remember - nearly every major health related organization was opposed to it. Rather than fixing the structural problems with the ACA that Republicans created, Trumpcare will make it more difficult (and expensive) for those with preexisting medical conditions to get care. A proposed amendment introduced by Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI) and Rep. Billy Long (R-MO) would put an additional $8 billion towards high-risk pools over five years, but that fund would cover only 76,000 enrollees, or four percent of the estimated 130 million Americans with pre-existing conditions.
