This is becoming a Movement and this is your chance to get involved.

The taking of a knee by Colin Kaepernick to protest police violence and racist oppression in the US has sparked a national effort to addres sthe issue by bringing attention to it, by taking a knee. The protests are keeping the issue of police violence in the national spotlight and is beginning to force those in power to try to stop a Movement they fear may force them into concessions.

As a result the message opposing police violence and racism has morphed into a debate about the right to protest itself, as the NFL owners, President Trump and to lesser extent corporate America seek to shut down the ability of players to exercise their Constitutional rights.

Join us this Sunday at US BANK Stadium before the Vikings game at 11:00 to take a knee and take a stand against police violence and racism. Police violence has been a problem in Minnesota resulting in the deaths of Philando Castile, Jamar Clarke, Terrence Franklin and others and more recently Justine Damond. Lets take advantage of this national opening to lend our voice to the just chorus demanding justice and end to police violence.

If young people all over the country can risk being ostracized and risk punishment to stand in solidarity with this cause surely we can. In Baltimore last Sunday hundreds took a knee, cities all over the country are joining this effort. This is our chance!
