**Minnesota Black Author's Expo - November 18, 2017** Hosted by The Haven Minneapolis

We are excited about Minnesota's historic Black Author Expo! This expo is intended to support the work of black authors and to engage our community. This event will give black authors a chance to display their talents, network and meet the community and other authors. Authors will be able to sign and sell their books.Come meet, greet, and buy books from a diverse group of Black authors in the Twin Cities. There will be a wide selection to choose from. Non Fiction, Self Help, Urban Fiction, Christian Fiction, Empowerment, Hip Hop Love Stories, Coming of Age, and Children Books. We will have performances, live readings, and great panel discussions with the authors themselves. This event is free and open to the public.

This event is hosted by authors Jasmine Boudah, Toviaz Bridgewater Sly, and De'Vonna Pittman, and will be held at Neon located at 1007 West Broadway in the heart of Minneapolis.

We are excited that authors have already begun to reserve their spots to join us! Authors of all genres are invited to join us. This event will not be "commercialized," our intent is for authors to have a meaningful, memorable, and engaging experience. We envision less than 40 authors at this event, so it is imperative authors book their booths as soon as possible as there will be a waiting list after we secure 40 authors.

Help us build momentum and celebrate authors by spreading the word and inviting people to the event! See link below:
