***Theme 2017*** Protect Mother Earth
All participants are encouraged to address ways to protect Earth, create floats, banners, posters, let your creative juices flow to make a statement towards ways Indigenous people need to protect Earth. Examples might be addressing Wild Rice threats, Line 3, clean waters, protecting sacred lands like mounds, climate change, energy conservation...anything that protects Earth and encourages change. Each registered group/class will be judged along the parade path and trophies will be awarded to the best group/class!!
