Talking points to consider:
CPS reform is underway but they refuse to adress disparities and disproportionately; why?
According to MN's Child welfare report:
African American children and children of two of more races were placed in out of home care at a rate 3.6 and 4.5 times higher than white children
African American and children of 2 or more races were 3 and 5.5 times more likely to be subjects of a child protection report than white children
African-American children were more than 3.9 times more likely to become state wards than White children
Please call your representative today and join us in letting our legislators know that BLACK CHILDREN MATTER!
