Third Thursdays: The Fight for the Equal Rights Amendment

  • Inbound Brewco 701 North 5th Street Minneapolis, MN, 55401 United States (map)

Third Thursdays Social Resistance Gathering is a new series taking place on the third Thursday of each month. The event is a chance for community members to come together, socialize, strategize, learn, and recharge to continue the good fight protecting progressive values in Minnesota.

Join MSP NOW and the Minnesota Resistance Coalition Thursday, October 19, 6-8 p.m. at Inbound BrewCo for an in-depth panel discussion on the Equal Rights Amendment.

Our panel discussion will be moderated by President of Minnesota NOW and candidate for the Minnesotata House of Representatives in 38B, Ami Wazlawik.

- What is the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), and why do we need it?
- Why don't we have it?
- What can be done about that? What is the legislative landscape for the ERA here in Minnesota, in terms of getting the ERA on the ballot in 2018/2020?

Registration is required. If you change your mind, just let us know so we can give your space to someone else. Reserve your spot

6-6:30 p.m.: Social time
6:30-8 p.m.: Remarks from speakers and Q&A
8 p.m.: Wrap-up and social time

The event is free but space is limited.
