In 2021, more than 360 voter suppression bills were introduced in 47 states in the U.S., including in MN. These laws aim to make it harder for people to vote, and they particularly impact communities of color.
Join us next Thursday (MN State Capitol, 6-7pm) on the first anniversary of the Jan 6 failed rightwing coup attempt, to rally in defense of democracy and call on lawmakers to preserve, protect and strengthen our right to vote. Join us as we demand that Congress pass the Freedom to Vote Act, John Lewis Voting Rights Act and the Protecting our Democracy Act.
This event is part of a nationwide day of action focused on democracy and is being organized by a number of different MN Indivisible groups.

We joined more than 650 marches across the country to demand an end to the dangerous, escalating attacks on reproductive healthcare in this country. The magnitude of the response demonstrates what surveys have already indicated, that 74 percent of Minnesotans support to access abortion without restrictions.
