Join us at 9:30 a.m. for a Women's March Minnesota introduction, and at 10 all committees will meet. We plan to host these meetings monthly, and future meetings will have speakers on different topics as well. We hope you will join in our efforts.

Join us and Rep. Ilhan Omar as we introduce a bill to eliminate the statute of limitations for reporting incidents of sexual violence. The press conference will include a statement from Rep. Ilhan Omar and members of both Break the Silence MN and Reviving the Islamic Sisterhood for Empowerment. We stand with survivors, and we need our legislators to stand with them, too.

A bill that needs to get a hearing this session and be voted in - a Sex Trafficking Prevention Bill aimed at bringing sex trafficking awareness into the school curriculum. Proposed by an enterprising group of Hopkins High School students (Girls United MN), this bill has bipartisan support.
