Thursday, Sept. 28, marked a great turnout for our Third Thursday Social Resistance Gathering with the Minnesota Resistance Coalition. Immigration is at the forefront of many Minnesotans' minds, as seen from the turnout, and it's difficult to stay up-to-date with the administration's latest attack on our refugee and immigrant residents.
Trump sets historically low cap on refugee admissions
With 65.6 million people forcibly displaced across the world—twice as many as 20 years ago—Trump cut the 2018 refugee admissions to the U.S. to 45,000 after minimal consultation with Congress. It's time to contact your representatives!

Urgent humanitarian aid is needed in Puerto Rico. A coalition of individuals and groups in Minnesota have banded together to send relief efforts: Coalition de Boricaus en Minnesota. A drive is underway to fill a plane with supplies that will leave Wednesday morning from MSP. We need your help. Send resources or donate—help in whatever way you are able.
