Call the Governor today and tell him we support him in rejecting bad bills
It is really simple to call – 651-201-3400 or toll-free 800-657-3717. At the end of the line there is a person who tallies every single bill or issue each caller raises and whether the caller opposed the issue or not – so mention as many issues as you can. You don’t need to go into any further details. Every call matters.
Budget bill negotiation update. And we want “clean” bills that fully fund state services!
With just 3 days left until the end of the MN legislative session, and Republicans proposing massive tax cuts to undercut our state programs, please take a minute to call Governor Dayton to show your support for vetoes on bills that do not support clean budget bills to fully fund state services for K-12 and higher education, health & human services, state government, public safety and the environment.
Then, keep it up with quick calls to the MN Majority Leaders of the MN House & Senate to demand the same. Remember the power we have - our voices will help to keep those programs most important to us properly funded!
Special Session is over - now it's time to call on Governor Dayton to stop bad policies.
Please let him know your thoughts, thank him for the things he has already said he would veto, and encourage him to protect the people of Minnesota from an extreme agenda that will push us back into structural deficits.”

Call to Action: “NO” to new MN Health Insurance bill that mimics ACHA at state-level.
A bill we thought was dead seems to be back on the table and the MN Republicans are trying to gauge local reaction to it, before possibly introducing the bill next session. This state-level bill contains provisions that mimic provisions in the national level ACHA Healthcare bill. It’s critical that we let the legislators know that Minnesota opposes this bill!

Call to Action: “No” AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN on Trumpcare. It’s just a terrible idea!
The vote to “repeal and replace” the ACA yesterday will take health insurance away from millions of Americans, gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions - including things like pregnancy, cancer, mental illness, eliminate services for special needs kids in school, and effectively let insurers charge women more than men.
