Get involved with getting ICE the F out of Minnesota!

See something?

If you see any federal activity, call the COPAL Rapid Response Line at 612-255-3112. Give them a SALUTE by reporting the following with as much detail as you have.
S = Size (number of agents)
A = Actions (what are they doing)
L = Location
U = Uniform
T = Time/Date
E = Equipment

Looking for a first step to getting involved?

Consider constitutional observer training to prepare you to bear witness in the case of local ICE raids. Monarca is a local initiative offering Upstander Trainings on a regular basis. Once you complete the training, you are invited to sign up for email alerts of events as they happen.

Want to attend a hyper-local (or even bigger) planned event?

Check out the WMM events calendar or the Minnesota Protests Facebook page for so many options!*

Want to get more involved with rapid response actions through Women's March Minnesota?

We started a direct action team. Team members receive updates about direct action activities and training opportunities.

Want to be a hyper-local helper in the Metro area?

Check out Defend the 612. They have a database of Signal chats by location. (And once connected you will learn about more.) Or check for a neighborhood Facebook Page/Group or some other online community near you.

Watch out for your community. Take a friendly walk around the neighborhood school or place of worship at start and end times, be alert and whistle-ready if you see something suspicious. (ALso, you you do report to Monarca - and top of this list!)

Patronize your local community-minded establishments. Try that new Somali market down the street. Buy a coffee from the locally-owned shop. Don’t shop at places that support, harbor or fund ICE, such as Target.

Able to help neighbors with errands, safe rides, or meals?

There’s a Mutual Aid Application for Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Fill it out and they can connect you to opportunities.

What can I do from home?

Check out 5 Calls for pointed messages to leave for Elected Officials and others. They also have an app you can download to your phone.

Sunrise TC (on Instagram) lists a number of actions/events, including opportunities to call and complain to hotels hosting ICE agents.

*Note: Event listings on either of these pages doesn't necessarily mean that WMM has officially endorsed the event. Attending a protest, rally, or similar event carries inherent personal risks, and participants do so at their own risk. WMM is committed to nonviolent actions, and we expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontations with those who may disagree with our values.
