Community shows up again for No Trump! No Troops! On Oct 25 at the MN State Capitol

Saturday afternoon (Oct 25, 2025), the People’s Action Coalition Against Trump (PACAT), hosted a scheduled protest and march at the MN State Capitol. Despite many attendees (and planners!) protesting at the Whipple Building the day before, cold and rainy weather on Saturday, road construction around the Capitol, security officers everywhere, and a helicopter overhead—all these factors did not keep protestors away.

There was a slate of inspirational speakers talking about protecting our immigrant neighbors, speaking up for bodily autonomy, and recognizing the increasing impact cuts on food and heating assistance will have on our communities and more.

A common message was the importance of acting together as a united front. PACAT is a growing coalition of organizations and while the members may have differences, it is important to see beyond those differences and support each other as we focus on our democracy and the rights of all citizens and residents.
