Take Action for Gun Safety

Because no mother should need to have these conversations.

The fight for common sense gun laws is being fought daily. This year in Minnesota, there were two bills to decrease gun regulations in our state:

• HF188 - Right to Carry without a Permit - While this bill did not get a hearing, our legislative contacts believe it will return in the coming year.

• HF238 - Stand Your Ground - Went to committee and did not get a vote, but again we expect this bill to return next year.

Raise your voice on these bills. Call:

• your own MN state rep and senator

• members of the Public Safety Committee (whether you are in their district or not)

  • especially the Chair (Cornish, R-23B)

  • and co-Chair (Johnson, R-32A)

and any authors of the two bills (HF188, HF238)
