Just 5 days to go until the elections! Last weekend to GOTV!
New voter engagement campaign - pls share as far and wide as you can!
We’re into the last stretch. Lots of people have already voted and more are still to vote. Some haven’t decided yet. GOTV campaigns will be at fever-pitch this weekend. What can you do to help?
With everything that has happened this last week, the issues of white supremacy, racism, hatred and violence have been brought to the fore. We have to make it clear that this kind of behavior is not acceptable in the US. We must do this at the polls.
So, although turnout for the last midterm elections in MN was less than 50%, let’s make sure it’s different this time. Let's turn out for these midterms in HUGE numbers, and let’s get others to do the same.
What's your GOTV plan for this week?
Exciting new art-driven GOTV campaign is hitting the streets NOW. The focus? New voters. Have you seen the posters in your community yet?
And there is an excellent website to go with it too!
This campaign has been put together by local artist Leon Wang.
Now we need to help get the word out - share the images and website details widely on social media, particularly with the young and new voters in your life.
Just 18 more days to go! GOTV efforts are going up a gear or three. And they need YOU!
We love a great march. Like-minded people coming together to stand up for what they believe in.
Know what’s even better? Making sure great people get elected to positions of power, people who will stand up and fight every day for the things you believe in.
What are you doing this week to make sure the right people get elected on November 6th?
If you are not already door knocking, text/phone banking, writing postcards etc., to GOTV and support candidates, now's the time.
We contacted 15,000 plus in one night! Way to go Third Thursdays!
Yes, just 18 more days and every day between now and election day counts.
Volunteer to text/phone bank, door knock, deliver literature, etc., for candidates you support. Call their campaign offices NOW and find out how you can help. Make sure candidates who share your values get elected.
Donate to their campaigns. Did you know the first $50 of your donation will be refunded?
Get Informed Before you Vote!
1 bar, 2 hours, 50 people = 15,000 voters contacted by text and 600plus cards written! Great GOTV results, folks. Thanks for coming out and working so darn hard. You were phenomenal. And it was fun!
Takeaway: Text banking is a REALLY good way to be in touch with people about voting. And by the end it looked like there was a new group of text bankers ready to lend a hand to some lucky election campaigns.

Getting ready to vote with BallotReady!
Apply to be an Election Judge!
Our Constitution demands that every citizen have an equal voice and vote in determining the future of our families, communities, and country. EVERY citizen.
Election judges are the backbone of our democracy. Do you or someone you know speak Spanish, Somali, Arabic, Hmong or any other language? This is an opportunity to make a BIG difference. Unfortunately, some Minnesota citizens with English as a second language, and needing a little help at the polls on election day, frequently leave their polling place because no one is able to assist them.
Some Minnesota citizens have not had a positive experience with government and are very intimidated by the process. Having someone at the polling place they may recognize from their community makes it less daunting.
We need your help in recruiting people to apply as election judges; especially if they are bilingual! Email me and we will get you, or those you send our way, set up: email@example.com
Just 3 weeks until the midterm elections! How's the research going to work out which candidates you plan to vote for in all the different races on your ballot?
Need a bit of help? This might be good place to start: BallotReady tells you what's on your ballot (federal, state, local and judicial races), what each office does, each candidate's background and where they stand on important issues. All you need to do is put in your address!
